Over the next month I will hit two huge milestones in my business: 5 years with jBloom and 20 years as a jewelry consultant! Whew! That is so fun to see in writing!

It wasn’t that long ago that I was feeling upended, the company I had worked with for 15 years had announced that it was closing its doors. Enter jBloom. Many of my friends had made the move to this “new” jewelry company and I didn’t want to sell health products or crafty things.

My husband encouraged me as I hesitated, saying “The cost is minimal, the worst thing that could happen is that you wind up with a bunch of pretty jewelry.”

I jumped in. The start was slightly wobbly as I was working way more hours than I wanted at a store job. I was able to get my footing in this new company after a few months. Learning how to create custom pieces, how to do the back office, and what I was actually representing wasn’t hard—it just took a little time.

It was pretty exciting actually. I suddenly had so many fun ways to help people—subscription boxes that change every month, custom and personalized designs, chill cups, and now permanent jewelry. There was always something fresh to share and something for everyone.

I love the training, I love our conferences, I love the community of women “sisters” if you will. So supportive!!!
